Reduce

A three-part post this week: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle will show you how to be green with your style as you transition to fall.

Part One: Reduce.

Reduce the amount of jewelry you're wearing by adorning yourself with one, big statement piece. You can really invest in a classic statement piece OR purchase one on the cheap that's on trend for the season.

What's your go-to statement piece?

Earrings.
Glam up your lobes with a pair of colorful, bohemian statement earrings ($35). The bright orange is a must for fall. It'll let you show your spirit for the season without wearing a patchwork pumpkin on your chest.Bracelet.
Go ahead and make my day, and get yourself an accessory that makes you feel like a badass. You don't have to be a biker chick to appreciate this chic cuff ($475). Wear it - or use it as an inspiration and grab a great knockoff - casual with jeans or dress down a lbd for happy hour or a fun date. Don't go overboard with black and leather and grommets with this piece, though. Unless, of course, you're off to the biker bar.
Necklace.
When was the last time you threw on a bib? Maybe on your kiddo, but the only drool this bib will be catching might be yours from a "I must have this" daze. Wear a big, bib necklace ($20) with a top or dress with a simple neckline so it won't detract from the architecture of the top.
