And it's not too far off to imagine that I would be the one to find her. As a kid I always ended up finding the dead pet. Gruesome, I know. I was the first on scene to the bunny murder of '99 when Kitty's dad finally met Mom's rabbit. I also was the first to meet a litter with two stillborn puppies and discovered our Shelty (who had cancer) after Kitty's mom had attacked her. Good times. So naturally, on the way to work yesterday I called up Mom to check on Kitty. Thankfully I'm just crazy and not psychic because Kitty peeked at Mom through the bushes with her beavery grin and wagged her tail goodmorning.
Let's take a cue from Kitty's natural beauty to dispell a myth: You can't wear brown and black together. MYTH. Look how cute she is with her brown socks and her little nose 'accessorizing' her black ensemble. Here's how to sport the black and brown and silence the critics.
Ruffle bib tank ($35), skinny belt ($20), boot cut jeans ($18), leopard-print pumps ($85).
Dress ($55), cardigan, boots ($175).

I think the critics may be right about black and brown (with the belts there anyway), but I really like that green sweater!
ReplyDeleteI'm with Ashley. I say no to the black and brown combo, especially on my husband, who thinks nothing of wearing a black shirt and brown shoes/belt. He does love dachshunds. Maybe he's taking his fashion cues from them?
